Want to know more about us? Throughout the year, we offer a Discovering WPC class which is designed to introduce or refresh basics of Christian teaching, the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) as well as to orient you to WPC, its history, its organization, its programs and its people. The class is a great way to get to know the congregation and its ministries as well as other persons who are exploring membership. If you are interested or have questions, please contact Pastor Jim or our office manager, Mary Hall at 540-347-2213.
Becoming a Member:
Warrenton Presbyterian Church welcomes all persons who respond in trust and obedience to God’s grace in Jesus Christ and desire to become part of the membership and ministry of Christ’s Church. It is our way of responding to God’s call of discipleship to commit to the fellowship and ministries of a particular faith community, but also part of the greater Church.
An active member of the congregation is someone who has made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, has been baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit and participates regularly in the church’s mission, fellowship and worship through giving proportionately of their talents, time and financial resources.
